On second look, I actually think it adds to the photo compositionally; that one additional circle brings the eyes naturally up to the model's face, so it's kind of a natural transition from her body and the lemons to the rest of her...it completes the visual sweep. Without it, the eyes stall at her shoulders and then naturally drift back down to her breasts without ever taking in the whole image.
